Outreach 3Way Fundraiser: Building a Communication Library

Outreach 3Way is launching a fundraising initiative to establish a dedicated Communication Library, designed to support individuals across our community—particularly those attending SMILE, our day service in Crawley, West Sussex. SMILE provides vital support to adults with learning disabilities and profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).

Our vision is to create an inclusive resource hub that enables individuals to express themselves, be understood, and engage fully as valued members of Outreach 3Way. The Communication Library will offer a diverse range of tools—from simple picture cards to advanced electronic devices—tailored to meet the needs of those who experience challenges with speech, writing, or language comprehension.

These communication aids are essential for fostering independence, inclusion, and meaningful interaction. They are especially beneficial for individuals with conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, and other learning disabilities, but can support anyone facing communication barriers.
