Old Boots, New Dreams is partnership between Rossendale Council and Rossendale Works, a community employment programme from Active Lancashire.

This inspiring project uses the power of football to help people who are currently out of work or training. Through regular sessions, participants build confidence, establish routine, and take steps toward employment – all through the beautiful game.

But there’s one big hurdle: many of those taking part don’t have suitable football boots.

That’s where you come in.

We’re aiming to collect 50 pairs of good-condition football boots (sizes 5–12, suitable for 3G pitches) to give directly to participants. If you have any spare or outgrown boots, we’d love your help. We’ve set up convenient drop-off points across the borough:

Marl Pits

Futures Park

Haslingden Community Link

Donations can be made between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday – Friday (also weekends for Marl Pits and Adrenaline 10am – 4pm).
