Organised by Chesterfield FC Community TrustOlly Parkinson is set to travel the distance between Lands End and John O'Groats by walking, cycling and cross-training. This virtual journey is to raise money for Chesterfield FC Community Trust and Cancer Research UK.
The Wellbeing Department of the Trust is involved in projects that not only change lives but in some cases save them.
The work involves initiatives for older people, those affected by cancer, people with mental health issues, those recovering from addictions and a range of other issues.
The money raised will be split with Cancer Research UK, a charity fighting 200 types of cancer. That charity is helping to bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
