At Christmas, we reflect on how important it is to look after one another.

But for many in Elmbridge, Christmas makes a hard time even harder. Christmas may be a reminder that Santa can’t give your child what they asked for; it may be the time when you feel the lack of a support network most keenly.

Walton Charity wants to help. Our Pantry at the Bridge, originally set up in 2023, supports working families in Elmbridge struggling with the cost of living. Through our membership model, families pay £10 per visit to our shop, receiving items such as food and toiletries valued around £40. They also access advice from onsite specialists, alongside peer support from other Pantry members.

In-work poverty is a growing problem in Elmbridge, and our way of supporting families values their dignity, and gives them choice. Donate to this Christmas and give a gift that makes a real difference, all year round.
