Did you know that half of all children in the UK are affected by separation?

Just as a race is run, children in separated families must face their futures one step at a time. We run to help make sure they don't feel alone in their race.

When a child has an unstable family support system, their futures are put at risk. According to recent research, these children are "more likely to be disadvantaged across a range of outcomes including emotional wellbeing and education". However, the study also says that impact of separation on the child is directly linked to the way their parents interact with each other, and how they get along as co-parents.

At OnePlusOne, we want to help build better futures for these children and their families. Join us by donating as we run the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds for supportive family resources.

Your donation will go towards building evidence-based resources that encourage greater stability for children and their parents, even after separation. We have already had great success with our app, Separating better, which allows co-parents to set boundaries and terms in a neutral digital space.
