The Cobblers are once again teaming up with SpecialEffect to take part in “One Special Walk” and to raise funds for both SpecialEffect and NTFC Community Trust with sponsorship generated by the Northampton Town Football Club walking team being split between the two charities.

SpecialEffect (charity number 1121004) have supported many young people, including Cobblers fans and their life-changing work enables people to enjoy video games and technology, fostering inclusion and joy where it is often lacking.

A team from the club will be taking part in the challenge again this year, including NTFC Chairman Kelvin Thomas, NTFC Community Trust Chairman Scott Desborough, CEO James Whiting and Club Director Jim Rosenthal along with club and community staff.

NTFC Community Trust (charity number 1092502) is the official charity of The Cobblers and uses the unique appeal of Northampton Town Football Club to deliver activities that connect communities and improve people’s lives.

The walk will take place on Friday 25 September and will work its way through West London on an 18-mile route that starts and ends at Fulham Football Club.

We would really appreciate any and all donations for walk so that we can maximise the amount being raised for both of these vital charities.
