Only A Pavement Away’s purpose is to provide pathways out of homelessness and crime into purposeful employment within the hospitality industry. Over the next six years it is estimated that there will be around 1.3million vacancies in the hospitality industry. At the same time, the number of people who are facing or are at risk of becoming homeless, is rising.

The charity connects forward-thinking employers to charity referral partners to rebuild lives and reintegrate people back into society. To date, the charity has placed over 560 people into work, adding an approximate value of £35m to the economy through reduced government support, financial independence, and household expenditure.

Only A Pavement Away offers financial grants and learning and development programmes to upskill individuals and break the barriers that currently exist when it comes to getting a job. Also providing ongoing support once our members are in employment to ensure long lasting stability & wellbeing.
