Out and Proud African LGBTI (OPAL) is a self-help group for African LGBT refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

As a small grassroots charity, we are proud of our work to provide a safe environment where LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers can flourish. Despite our limited capacity, we serve as the lifeline for hundreds of members, helping them navigate the complex asylum system in the UK. OPAL is a true testament to unity and resilience in the community.
