What can we say??!! We have been overwhelmed by your incredible generosity! To have raised this amount of money both online and offline has been incredible. We have now delivered 150 meal gift vouchers to Exmouth Food Bank which will be going out in food parcels on the run up to Christmas. The voucher entitles each recipient to a delicious hot meal and a drink at the Open Door Community Cafe and is valid until October 2022.

Our original target was to raise £750 by 12th December, but we are now well on our way to covering the cost of all the meals we provide for free each year, for individuals and families in need. We provide approximately 600 meals/year equating to £3000 so we are stepping out in faith and have adjusted our target to £3750... can you help us make that happen?!

At Open Door, we care passionately that everyone has enough food to eat, but we also want to provide a cafe environment where friendships can be made, support is received and a listening ear is always available. Social isolation and loneliness is a very real experience for many people that we come into contact with. Each £5 donation provides more than a hot meal; it comes with a warm welcome, a friendly smile and a voice that says "you are not alone".
