Home-Start HOST sits alongside families who are facing challenges such as financial hardship, mental health issues and isolation. Our mission is to amplify parents' innate strengths, foster community connections, and create an environment where every child's early year’s blossom with creativity, discovery, and joy.
Experiences like going to the zoo mean families are able to spend time together in places new to them all.
As one mum Keira told us:
It was nice to get out of the house with the kids seeing them so happy and excited. It was a great opportunity to not worry about things for a day and spend quality time doing something that the kids and I will remember for a long time.
