We are raising funds to install a magnificent historic pipe organ in this beautiful parish church. There are so many fine instruments in danger of going on the scrap heap and we want to rescue one and give it a new home. It will be a fantastic resource both for the parish and the wider community, inspiring outstanding music , teaching and learning , performance s and recitals . Organs are not called The King of Instruments for nothing. It is a crying shame that they are often so inaccessible and therefore that so many people know virtually nothing at all about them. An organ is a truly amazing feat of engineering, it is breathtakingly beautiful, both to see and to hear and the thrill of playing one can only be described as the musical equivalent of extreme sports.
