Story

Forde Park Community Project opened "Our Pavilion" as a takeaway during lockdown in October 2020.

Thanks to the efforts of a wonderful team of volunteers we have already managed to provide meaningful employment to a large group of adults with differing needs.

As the pandemic restrictions start to ease and we are allowed to start to operate as a proper cafe, it is apparent that we will be unable to achieve this without securing the services of a paid manager who will be able to ensure that we are fully complying with food and hygeine regulations as we begin to broaden our services and menu.

We have decided to trial this for an initial 6 months in the hope that once a manager is in place, with a cafe to serve the needs of the local community ,our charity will then be able to support the ongoing costs.

This ambitious cycle ride hopes to raise the funds to employ a suitable candidate for this initial trial with the belief that success will sustain us for the future.
