This summer, a major part of our ‘Opening Doors’ building project comes to fruition, as the Access-for-all entrance and the Organ rebuild are completed in the next few weeks. But from the outset this project was not just about bricks and mortar, it's about opening up new opportunities for us to share Jesus with those around. And so, we believe God is now calling us into a new season in which our spiritual doors will be open for bold evangelism and creative outreach.
Specifically, we want to develop a witnessing culture throughout our church, to reach and train increasing numbers of young adults as evangelists, and to share the Gospel more effectively with French speakers, building on the core vision of French Connect.
To help with this, we believe God is calling us to recruit an Outreach Pastor. Following interviews for this post, we were unanimous in sensing that God is calling Juliette Colas, a gifted French Christian living in London, to join us for a two-year period from September in this envisioning role.
To make this vision a reality, we need to raise £25,000 per year to cover all expenses. This will help provide for salary costs, outreach and training programs, and other resources. To realise this, we need your support!
