Story
The Green Belt is under heavy pressure. Its boundaries are being eroded by city-related development and its identity is being re-branded as ‘a rural-urban fringe’ or packaged off as ‘grey belt'.
We're trying to raise money and awareness of this precious resource by asking budding walkers to take on the Oxford Green Belt Way Challenge and walk the entirety of the Oxford Green Belt Way.
Donate £25 and get a free guide book - if you complete the route within 12 months we'll send you a certificate!
The Oxford Green Belt Way is an 87 km circular trail created by CPRE Oxfordshire. It leads you through peaceful meadows, woodland, riversides, classic views of the Dreaming Spires, and villages shaped over centuries.
It’s the perfect way to explore the countryside that surrounds – and defines – the City of Oxford.
