OXSRAD Charity Football Match 2026
The annual football fundraiser for OXSRAD is back for 2026, taking place on Sunday, June 28th. This much-loved event brings the community together for a day of sport, connection, and purpose—raising vital funds to support OXSRAD’s life-enhancing work.
From March 2024 to March 2025, OXSRAD supported 811 individuals, over half of whom were living with a physical disability, long-term health condition, or mental health condition. Of those supported, 125 were under the age of 25, highlighting the importance of inclusive opportunities for young people.
The need for accessible and inclusive physical activity remains significant. Disabled individuals are disproportionately more likely to be inactive, often facing barriers such as limited accessibility, reduced confidence, and a lack of suitable provision. OXSRAD continues to address this by creating a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can take part in meaningful activity, regardless of ability.
A key part of OXSRAD’s approach is the integration of disabled and able-bodied people. This is seen every day in their inclusive gym, where wheelchair users exercise alongside runners, and students from Special Educational Needs schools train alongside other members of the community. This shared space reflects the heart of OXSRAD’s mission - breaking down barriers through activity.
This year has also seen the exciting redevelopment of the Rebound Therapy programme, which now runs six days a week and delivers over 60 sessions weekly. This specialist, trampoline-based therapy supports children, young people, and adults with a wide range of physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and communication needs. Sessions are delivered both individually and with school groups, providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment for participants to thrive alongside familiar support networks.
Join us on June 28th for a fantastic day of football while helping to make a real difference in people’s lives.
