P3 Charity has been working in local communities across England for more than 50 years, improving the communities in which we work by supporting everyone to be a fully integrated member of society.
By offering homelessness outreach services, affordable housing, tenancy support, advice services, mental health support, employment support and children’s and youth programmes, we’re able to work towards our vision of a country where no person is left on the fringes of society and everyone is given the opportunity and support needed to be a valued member of the community in which they live.
Poverty and mental-ill health don’t discriminate, so our services support people from all walks of life. Austerity measures of the last 10 years and the ongoing impact of the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis has pushed more families into poverty than ever before and has caused a mental health emergency that the government alone can’t solve.
Our Huntingdon services offer tenancy and housing related information, advice and support to help people improve their housing situation and successfully manage their tenancies. Our support comes in all shapes and sizes, including one-to-one support in your home, drop-in sessions in the community, telephone and digital support. This support is available to anyone aged 18+ who lives in Huntingdonshire and is experiencing risk of homelessness, rent or mortgage arrears, difficulties managing their home independently.
What your support will do:
With your support, we'll be able to provide 'Home Hampers' for people moving into new homes, sometimes after a period of homelessness or a time in temporary housing.
Home Hampers provide people with both essential supplies for the house – such as cleaning supplies and towels – as well as items to support their wellbeing, like tea and biscuits.
Each Home Hamper costs £30, so every donation, no matter the size, goes a long way to providing someone with the essentials to help turn their house into a home.
We hope that one day our services won’t be needed, but until that day comes, we’re grateful for your support.
