Right now, a young person in is facing a night with nowhere safe to stay.

At the YMCA South Midlands, we meet young people at some of the most difficult moments in their lives. Many arrive at our accommodation services feeling scared, alone, and unsure about what comes next.

Without support, homelessness can become a relentless and isolating journey. However it does not have to stay that way. With the right support, a safe place to live, and someone who believes in them, everything can change. At the YMCA we provide young people aged 18-35 with this support. We empower and work with them to rebuild their confidence, move into education or work, and begin to believe in their future again.

That is why we are taking on the Dragon Boat Race. Every row we take on the water represents a step away from homelessness for a young person. Every pound you donate helps provide safety, support, and opportunity when it is needed most.
