THE SAILING CLUB COMMITTEE HAVE AGREED TO ADD THE AMAZING SUM OF £25,000 TO THE FUND, RAISED BY MANY SELFLESS VOLUNTEERS AND FRIENDS AT FUNDRAISING EVENTS, BOOK SALES, COFFEE MORNINGS, RAFFLES, LUNCHES ETC. THIS WILL ADD GREAT MOMENTUM IN OUR QUEST TO REACH THE TARGET AND PROVIDE ALL MEMBERS WITH IMPROVED ACCESS TO THE WATER

Whilst Padstow is a vibrant town, there are many young people who are less fortunate and hungry for adventure but need a little help to get started.

Padstow Sailing Club has big ambitions to encourage many more young people, to get out onto the water. But to do this we need a new bridge and pontoon out into the estuary to make it easy for all members to reach club boats.

As you will see from the photos, today we have to use steps and a rope-pulled boat, which is difficult and off-putting, especially for less-able members of all ages.

So we really do need your help

We need to raise the challenging figure of £100,000 to fund the purchase and installation of the new pontoon and bridge.

Please help us with a donation, however small, to allow us to provide more young people improved access to the joys of being on water.
