Page Park Aviary

All the birds in our aviary are rescue birds that have been donated. The aviary is about providing a safe home for our feathered friends who otherwise would not survive. We are always in need of funds to maintain the aviary. Please help if you can.

The Friends of Page Park are a non-profit making, voluntary group of local residents and park users whose aim is to protect and improve the park and it's facilities for the community and future generations. The group is a registered charity (number 1158230).

Story

Situated in our Sensory Garden in Page Park, is our aviary, which has been part of the park for many years. We house numerous birds of exotic species that are enjoyed by all who visit. All the birds are rescue birds that have been kindly donated to us. We do not breed them. This aviary is about helping and providing a safe home for our feathered friends who otherwise would not survive in the wild.

Some of our birds do not have the ability to fly, so we have implemented climbable surfaces from the ground to allow access to high areas. Our aim is to ensure that every bird can experience a fulfilling life within our aviary.

We are always in need of funds to make improvements, maintain the aviary, and buy food and supplies. Please help if you can.
