TURNING PAIN INTO POWER ❤️

We are climbing in Ireland for over 9hrs with our amazing partners the Malawi Projects.

Last year, we were supposed to climb a mountain together. Instead, we spent seven months in hospital fighting to save Arrow’s leg — and, at times, his life.

Arrow was hit by a trailer while out on his bike. He suffered devastating injuries to his leg and then developed a rare and serious infection.

For seven months, our world became operations, antibiotics, blood tests, pain, fear, sleepless nights and learning how to walk again.

But Arrow had something that no child should ever have to go without:

access to the right care, at the right time.

Specialist surgeons. Infectious disease experts. Medication and laboratories. Physiotherapists. Occupational therapists. Equipment. Rehabilitation. And an incredible team of people who never stopped fighting for him.

Eventually, Arrow walked again.

And throughout those seven months, one question kept coming back to us:

What if Arrow had been injured in Malawi?

We honestly don't know what would have happened.

But we know what he needed — and we know that many children in Malawi simply don't have the same access to specialist healthcare, rehabilitation and equipment.

For 18 years, our family has supported the girls of Tilinanu in Malawi. They are family to us. We have seen the incredible work being done there, and we have seen the determination of children and families who want exactly the same things we all want for our own children:

To walk. To play. To learn. To become independent. To have a future.

Our fundraising supports the SEND centre in Malawi, providing physiotherapy, care, resources and support to children who desperately need them.

So this year, Arrow climbed Holyhead Mountiain with team of his littel freinds and every step he took was with Power, Determination and Strength all for children in Malawi. We. were SO proud of him as we really didnt think this would be possible.

Because last year was one of the hardest years of his and our lives.

We want to take everything Arrow went through and turn it into something that can change another child's life.

Every step is for Arrow.
Every step is for the children of Malawi.
Every step is about turning pain into power.
