This Christmas, we’re lighting up our Christmas tree's at James Cook & Friarage with our love baubles — each one placed in honour of someone deeply loved and dearly missed.

By dedicating a bauble, you help us fill the tree with stories, love, and remembrance, creating a gentle glow for every life that touched ours.

All donations will support the work of our Specialist Palliative Care Team, whose kindness and care bring comfort during life’s hardest moments.

Your contribution is more than a gift — it’s a legacy of compassion, helping others receive the same warmth and support when they need it most.

We ask for minimum donation of £2.50, This allows the palliative care team to provide items such as comfort bags and memory boxes to the relatives of patients receiving end of life care. Thanks to your donations we can also offer our patients items & equipment to make them more comfortable at home. This is their way of offering that extra support to families in remembering their loved ones, and to help them cope at such a difficult time.

We know that Christmas can be a very difficult time for those who have lost someone special so we hope our memorial trees go some way in offering comfort.
