We are delighted to share that in celebration of their upcoming wedding on September 9, 2024, Paola Molina and Alex Sagarnaga have chosen to support a cause close to their hearts: the Resiliency Institute for Childhood Adversity (RICA) at Loma Linda University Health.
As many of you know, Paola is a dedicated Certified Nurse Practitioner at RICA. Her work involves providing specialized care and support to children who have faced significant challenges and adversities. By choosing to support RICA and Loma Linda University Health, Paola and Alex are making a meaningful impact on the lives of these vulnerable children, helping to foster their resilience and overall well-being.
Their generous decision to direct their wedding gifts to this cause reflects their deep commitment to improving the lives of those in need. We invite you to join them in supporting RICA and Loma Linda University Health, as we celebrate their love and dedication to making a positive difference in our community.
Thank you for sharing in this joyous occasion and for your support of Paola and Alex's mission to create a brighter future for children in adversity.
More about the Resiliency Institute for Childhood Adversity
The Resiliency Institute for Childhood Adversity (RICA) is a trauma-informed care system serving children and their caregivers who have experienced significant adversities including physical and/or sexual abuse, physical and/or emotional neglect, violence in their home or community, food and housing insecurity, foster care, mental health, and substance abuse issues, and/or the absence of caregivers due to early death, suicide, or incarceration.
Our multi-disciplinary team of experts is committed to ensuring that our most vulnerable patients and their caregivers have immediate access to integrated services that support physical and mental health and Social Determinants of Health and Learning (SDOH/L). Through our unique Community of Support model, RICA provides a care team that accompanies children and families in their journey towards an overall improved quality of life.
