Story

Why do we need this vital electrical equipment?

We've reached a point in our charity where we are too dependent on the goodwill of very kind volunteers lending us their tools to help make the upkeep of the school allotments that we serve possible. To add to this, most of our loaned lawnmowers and strimmers are powered by fossil fuels which is another key reason why we are keen to switch to all electric; it's good for the environment and it sets a good example to young people too. It's therefore important that we now look to purchase our very own set of key equipment that we can use to help with the general maintenance of over a quarter of all secondary schools across Norfolk.

If we are successful in obtaining this vital electrical equipment, we have means to recharge everything directly through portable solar power system and we are incredibly keen to show this system to young people to set a further inspirational example to them.

With adult guidance and supervision, we can show our young people how to use these pieces of electrical equipment as we believe it's really important for young people to be given an opportunity to use electrical power tools in a safe and controlled environment.

What electrical equipment do we need?
