Let's face it we all love presents but don't really need any. I will love you to give me something thoughtful to wear, to party, to enjoy of course! But I also love the incredibly better long-term effect we can both have by that Little Gesture of just contributing my presents to people that have so much less.

These birthday charity requests sound blah blah sometimes. But this years marks 14 out of my 45 years that I've worked day (and many, many nights) to bring a baby charity to its feet with our family and close friends like many of you already. So what better time to celebrate than 2022 - after we went through Covid and a war, after we here continue to be healthy and partying, after we there in Mozambique help over 3'500 people directly and intensely every single year.

So party hard & donate harder!!

Um Pequeno Gesto Uma Grande Ajuda & A Little Gesture A Great Help are a Portuguese and UK Charity focused on overseas aid to vulnerable children in the Province of Gaza, a rural area in southern Mozambique.

Our mission is to promote the improvement of living conditions for underprivileged children and their families in Mozambique. Our goal is to give them access to academic and skills based education in a safe environment with adequate nutrition, water and housing. We strongly believe our impact is to improve their employability, create income-generating activities and support the local economy to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.

Our Sponsorship programme supports 1'000 underprivileged children with basic food and school enrolment costs. Our Projects area complements this support by benefitting over 3'000 underprivileged children and their families annually on charitable programmes in poverty relief, basic infrastructure, advancement of education and sustainability.
