Story

Help us to ensure that disabled people across the UK can train their own pet dogs as Assistance Dogs, supported by experienced trainers as volunteers.

You can see in our video how Abi's life has been changed by Bracken, her pet dog and constant companion. Abi trained Bracken to qualify as an Assistance Dog with the support of Dog A.I.D. and now wants to ensure that many more disabled people also have the same opportunity.

About the charity

Dog A.I.D. changes lives by enabling physically disabled people across the UK to train their own pets to become qualified assistance dogs, supported by volunteer trainers. These dogs increase independence by helping with practical tasks, building confidence, reducing isolation and the need for care.
