Visit the charity's profileThis year promises to be our biggest and best so far, with all our fundraising providing a better future for men and their families affected by prostate cancer. We have our sights set on a record-breaking fundraising effort this year so that we can fund more much needed research.
Each year 56,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer. They are someone's grandfather, father, brother, or son. Whilst prostate cancer is treatable in the prostate, once it spreads to other parts of the body, it becomes incurable and life-limiting. Our aim is simple: to fund the ground-breaking research that will stop lives being needlessly lost to advanced disease.
Running with #TeamPCR is an experience like no other... But don't take our word for it!
I ran my first (and possibly only!) marathon in honour of my father who had advanced prostate cancer. The support was tremendous and PCR worked really hard to bring their runners together. A genuine highlight of my marathon was seeing those at PCR cheering from the sidelines.
