Message from Head Coach Heath Grimm:

We're excited to take down another GLVC team title again this year! In 2024, we earned a share of the GLVC Championship, and last year, we were crowned the regular-season GLVC champs. So why not get another!

We had a strong preseason and are off to a great start with the official season beginning on October 10. Gains are being made daily by every one of our guys. Assisting with this growth is an exciting coaching staff.

As I enter my 26th season at UIU, I am blessed to have former Peacocks in Eric Faught, Carl Broghammer, Colter Bye and Ryan Wehner assisting with every step along the way.

The support given to the Peacock men's wrestling program during the first three Peacock Power 24-Hour Challenges has been unbelievable. We knew that the program had a huge following, but for that support to turn into generous gifts is humbling. The donations went directly to our program's needs, including warm-up jackets, nutritional products we used pre- and post-competition, and better travel experiences for some of our farther opponents.

This year, we are asking for your help again. All UIU men's wrestling program donors will be enrolled in the Mat Club and earn the perks listed below. Our wrestling program could not maintain its high level of student-athlete experience without your help. We can’t thank you enough for considering making a gift today and becoming a 2025-26 Peacock Mat Club member.

What perks will members of the Mat Club earn for their generous donations?

For donations of $1-$99... members will receive a newsletter every two weeks during the season and a newsletter every other month in the off-season that provides the inside scoop on Peacock wrestling. Note: Any Wrestling Alumni Donors will receive a thank-you letter from a current wrestler.

For donations of $100-$249... members will receive the newsletter, a video interview every two weeks during the season, and a video every other month in the off-season featuring Head Coach Heath Grimm.

For donations of $250-$999 or more... members will receive the newsletter and the videos and be invited to four Zoom calls with Head Coach Heath Grimm and select wrestlers from the team over the course of the season.

For donations of $1,000-$2,499… members will receive all the perks above, plus membership recognition on the video board during each home dual and exclusive Upper Iowa wrestling gear.

For donations of $2,500+… members will receive all the perks above, plus VIP Suite Access at Harms-Eischeid Stadium for all home football games next season.
