Message from Head Coach Mike Lewis:

As the fall season moves through September and October, the Upper Iowa University Men’s and Women’s Golf programs continue to make meaningful strides both on and off the course. Our student-athletes have embraced a challenging schedule designed to test their abilities against strong regional competition while gaining valuable experience in tournament environments. Throughout the first half of the season, both teams have demonstrated resilience, competitiveness, and a commitment to the daily process of improvement. From strong individual performances to steady development across the rosters, our golfers have represented Upper Iowa University with pride while continuing to build momentum toward the spring championship season.

The Men’s Golf team has continued to make progress while facing some of the strongest fields on our schedule. The experience gained during these events is invaluable, helping our student-athletes develop the skills, confidence, and competitive mindset necessary to pursue conference and postseason opportunities. Peacock Men's Golf remain focused on creating a culture of excellence that extends beyond scores and results, emphasizing leadership, accountability, and academic success.

As we look toward the future, we are actively fundraising to enhance the golf experience for our student-athletes through improvements within the Peacock Arts and Athletic Center (PAAC). Proposed upgrades include new projector systems for our golf simulators and upgraded computer technology capable of delivering enhanced 4K graphics and improved performance. These investments will provide our teams with a more modern training environment, allowing student-athletes to maximize practice opportunities throughout the year while utilizing technology that mirrors the tools available at many top collegiate programs. Enhancing these facilities will directly support player development and strengthen the overall recruiting experience for prospective Peacocks.

In addition to facility improvements, we are committed to providing a first-class travel experience as we continue to build schedules that challenge our teams and prepare them for postseason success. Competing against the best possible fields requires significant travel, but these opportunities are critical in helping our student-athletes reach their fullest potential. Your continued support plays an essential role in making these experiences possible.

Whether through facility enhancements, technology upgrades, or improved travel opportunities, every contribution directly impacts the growth and success of Upper Iowa University Golf.

We are grateful for the unwavering support of our alumni, donors, families, and friends, and we look forward to sharing continued progress and achievements throughout the remainder of the year.

Go Peacocks! 🦚🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️
