A Message from Head Women's Soccer Coach Patrick Ritter:

We worked really hard this year to bring in an excellent recruiting class of 17 new players, 16 of whom were freshmen, to mix with our excellent returning group. The season started strong with two quality ties in a pair of non-conference matches. The 2-2 score against Roosevelt, a team that beat us by 4 goals last year, really showed us what we would be capable of this year. The team started off hot with a lead early against Missouri S&T before eventually falling 2-1 despite multiple great chances. We started very strong defensively against current #9 Tritons of Missouri-St. Louis as well.

Unfortunately, the season turned to heartbreak as we faced multiple major injuries over the next several weeks during games. Our student-athletes are resilient and kept fighting throughout the disappointments as they found a way to earn our first-ever victory against UIndy on senior night to wrap up our home schedule.

This last year, we added to our spaces in the PAAC. I was able to lay down turf for a small playing area as well as space for our TeqBall table as well. The Athletics administration added Peacock Soccer-branded banners over our locker room wall for increased privacy, and we were able to get some tables into our area to help with team meals during the preseason. Thanks to your support last year, we were also able to add a small food cooler to our locker room this season for our ladies.

Women's Soccer Needs

With the help of our family, friends, and alums, we want to push our program to new, competitive heights. Your support of the Peacock Women’s Soccer program will help us continue to upgrade our team area by trying to add a fueling station for the ladies to prepare for practices and games. In addition, we want to add analytic software to our video capabilities so that we can try to match our preparedness with other teams in the conference that are using them.

We are grateful for every one of our supporters and do not take your support lightly. We know how great representing our Peacock Nation is, and with your help, we know the future of Peacock Soccer is bright as we continue to elevate our program.
