Our brilliant business community are taking on a unique and exciting challenge to support The Hive and Wirral’s young people.

They’ll be testing their teamwork, resilience and determination in an action-packed day in the Welsh outdoors by scaling the heights of Snowdon and tandem canoeing across Lake Bala.

The Hive is a purpose-built youth zone in Birkenhead, at the heart of the Wirral. We are open to young people aged 8–19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, offering a safe, welcoming environment where they can grow, explore and realise their potential.

Birkenhead sits within the top 1% of the most deprived areas in the UK, and one in three young people across the Wirral is growing up in poverty. Too many face limited access to opportunities that could shape their future.

The Hive exists to change that.

We offer a safe, inclusive space where young people make friends, try new activities, learn skills, build confidence and access opportunities that can truly transform their futures. Our vision is for every young person to be happy, healthy and thrive within their community.
