Fishguard Sea Cadets is a charity youth group that focuses on giving young people the best possible head start in life. We achieve this through nautical adventure and fun whilst also basing our traditions on the Royal Navy.

We have been given the opportunity to purchase a storage yard adjacent to the unit! The Yard will be named Peako's Yard after our late Commanding Officer Lt Peake, a man who gave so much time and dedication to our unit and Community.

Purchasing the yard would make a massive difference to our ever growing Unit. It would give us an opportunity to expand even further, offering a wider range of activities for our cadets as well as expanding our boat storage and maintenance abilities!

A big part of the Sea Cadet Experience is achieved through spending time on the water and the acquisition of the yard would make for a far safer and more organised routine when it comes to afloat training.

We are a very big Unit with over 80 cadets in attendance ranging from ages 9-18. Storage for a Unit of this size is always an issue and having this extra storage would make a massive difference. It would enable us to make full use of the space inside the building as well as the area surrounding it.

Please help us to achieve our goal of obtaining this storage yard! As a Charity, we rely heavily on grant funding as well as fundraising.
