Pedro's Hair for Care - Support our Beluga Whales

Organised by SEA LIFE Trust

Our Beluga Whale Sanctuary curator, Pedro Baranda, is committed to making a big sacrifice for a great cause. He has been trying to grow his hair for many years, his hair is basically his signature! But to help feed the whales, he'll give it all up!

Closes 30/06/2025

The SEA LIFE TRUST is dedicated to protecting the world’s oceans and incredible marine life, now and for the future. Through our marine animal Sanctuaries, conservation projects and campaigns, we work across the world to protect our seas, beautiful marine animals, and vital habitats.

Story

It’s o-fish-al! The price of capelin for our beloved belugas, Little White and Little Grey, has nearly doubled. With each kilo costing significantly more, our charity needs your help to keep our belugas happy and healthy.

🎣 The capelin has been tough to catch and even tougher to afford, with the best pricing at 420kr per kilo including transport. In our next order, we’ll be getting 7,000 kilos – that’s 250 boxes!

📢 FUNdraising Campaign Alert! Our curator, Pedro Baranda, is fully committed to making a big difference - and a big sacrifice - for a great cause. He has been trying to grow his hair for many years, his hair is basically his signature!

But here’s what happens if YOU help us out!

If we raise £500: Pedro will get a haircut! ✂️

If we raise £1,000 or more: Pedro will shave his head completely! 🪒

From midnight tonight until April 30th, join the FUNd and watch us strive to reach our goal to support our belugas.

Every contribution gets us closer to our target and ensures their meals.

Your help means the world to us and to Little White & Little Grey - and new hair cut to Pedro! ❤️🐳
