Story
Pegasus Pack is named after the events of D-Day, 6th June 1944. Troops from the 6th Airbourne division captured two bridges near Caen in Normandy through a daring attack using gliders. One of the bridges was names Pegasus Bridge - after the emblem of their unit.
These events inspire the Cubs to overcome difficulties and prepare themselves for all eventualities.
To fully appreciate what happened and give the young people a chance to experience modern France the Cubs are visiting Normandy in October for 5 days.
