Welcome to Positive East’s 2026 Hackney Half campaign page! This year we have a group of 26 incredible runners taking on the Hackney Half in support of our services – raising essential funds for people living with HIV in East London.

We know we’re ‘not done yet’ as 106,000 people in the UK (50,000 in London) still live with HIV. Stigma persists, and too many remain undiagnosed or diagnosed late. Funding cuts threaten essential services.

The funds our 2026 Hackney Half team raise will go towards Positive East’s holistic range of health and well-being programmes - from counselling and workshops to HIV testing and prevention - making a direct and tangible impact in the lives of people living with HIV.
