Story

The Pembroke Centre Walk on Saturday 12th April 2025 is a picturesque, signed walk from our centre through the beautiful woods of Wilton to raise money for the Pembroke Centre.

Our focus involves catering to individuals with diverse needs, such as children and adults facing physical and learning disabilities, autism, and dementia. We offer various forms of horse therapy, including yoga and hippotherapy, aimed at enhancing posture, movement patterns, strength, and balance.

Please join our walk and you will have a good time and get fitter in the process.

There is a choice of three routes available to suit mobility:

Avon route - 1 mile (fairly flat).

Wilton route - 1.5 miles (a little rough under foot but fairly flat.

The Pembroke route - 2 miles (hills and rougher terrain).

About the charity

The Pembroke Centre is home to Wilton Riding for the Disabled Association. We are run predominantly by volunteers. We provide riding and equine therapy to nearly 300 children and adults from the local area on our 16 horses and ponies.
