UPDATE:

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our 'Performathon' fundraising event. We are delighted and amazed to confirm that we beat our £5,000 target! Thanks to everyone who donated. Your generosity will make a huge difference to the charities concerned.

The monies raised will be split as follows: NHS HEROES - £2,979, Fairfield School - £1,817 and Honley MVC - £1,191. Thanks again!

On Saturday 5th September 2020 members of Honley Male Voice Choir will produce 12 hours of continuous entertainment to lift the spirits! The event will run from Noon until Midnight! Dedicated to all those NHS staff and key workers along with our other two charities who are managing through this difficult time. Why not come and dip into our Performathon of things to entertain you?

HEROES (HEALTHCARE EXTRAORDINARY RESPONSE ORGANISATION, FOR EDUCATION AND SUPPORT) is a charity founded by NHS workers, for NHS workers. They exist to support the welfare and wellbeing of those fighting to keep us healthy and safe during the COVID-19 crisis, and beyond.

Their services cover the physical, mental and day-to-day needs of all NHS HEROES, from doctors and nurses to cleaners and porters. More details can be found via their website:

Each year, the choir select a charity for which to fundraise. Our current 'charity of the year' is Fairfield School, Batley. The School provides a wonderful environment for children and young people with complex physical and learning disabilities to learn and thrive. More details can be found via their website:
