On Sunday 29 June, the Pound Gates team will be lacing up our walking shoes and taking part in the Orwell Challenge, a Suffolk tradition and a fantastic opportunity to get active and raise funds for local causes.
From the full 25-mile ‘Orwell Walk’ to shorter routes like the ‘Levington Loop’, each team member is choosing a distance that will represent a personal challenge - and we’re doing it together for a great cause. The Pound Gates team will include staff, family and friends.
The 60+ participants are raising money for The Acorn Fund, our partnership with Suffolk Community Foundation. The fund supports vital grassroots charities and causes across Suffolk, helping those who need it most.
Our business is paying the entry fee for all our team members and will provide some matching for money members of our team generate in donations - increasing the impact of your donation right from the start.
