Alhamdolillah, this small community of Crawley established a Masjid in the 70's by purchasing a small 2 bed bungalow on London Road. Over time the community grew & also the need for a purpose built Masjid grew... in 2009 after a long campaign, this prestigious project was accepted by the local development council of Crawley & the dream of a purpose built Masjid started to become a reality. Due to lack of funding the Masjid project was approached in 2 phases; Phase I & Phase II

Works started in 2011, when the demolition of the old Masjid took place and by the mercy of Allah the 1st phase was completed in May 2013, this also included the interior works at a cost of £1.6M. The next phase of works started in 2014 & due to various factors beyond our control, were delayed. Works have now progressed & we are nearing our milestone in completing the water-tight shell of the 2nd phase; however due to a crucial turn of events we had to install an internal staircase for all the exterior works to be completed at a cost of approx £115,000. This has created a shortfall in our funding and we are appealing to all brothers and sisters for help in reaching this milestone.
