Jake is jumping 13,000 ft to raise funds for Phoenix Charity.

Organised by Phoenix

Phoenix is a charity that offers practical and financial support to individuals who are struggling with drug and/or alcohol addiction. The charity aims to provide life-saving intervention to individuals who have fallen through the gaps.

Phoenix supports those individuals who fall through the cracks on the NHS and those on low incomes to access the care they otherwise would not receive. Phoenix funds these individuals to access alcohol home detoxes, residential rehab, one-to-one therapy and an intensive outpatient dayhab program.

Story

The money raised through this campaign will contribute to the Wilderness Programme. The Wilderness Programme is a therapeutic 12-step based 5-day retreat based in Wales UK. The programme is for individuals with addiction disorders and is scheduled to take place from the 07/10/2024- 11/10/2024.

The Wilderness Programme combines outdoor activities such as white-water rafting and abseiling with therapeutic 12-step based workshops, process groups, and meditation. Aftercare The Aftercare Wilderness Programme is a 6-month therapeutic 12-step based programme consisting of one-to-one psychotherapy sessions, as well as community building events connecting the beneficiaries. Connection is the opposite to addiction. The programme transforms lives. Beneficiaries of the previous programme have said that the experience transformed their recovery. Access to specialist support in early recovery can be limited, and unaffordable, and individuals can feel lonely. Phoenix brings people together, builds community and offers life-saving intervention free of charge. I am jumping to make the opportunity available for those struggling in early recovery. Thank you for supporting me and changing lives.
