Trek the Inca Trail and raise money for Harry’s Pals
Machu Picchu – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World – and a top bucket list destination. Sarah Ball, Director of The People in Glazing Society (AKA PiGs) has decided to make Harry's Pals their charity of the year for 2025 and 2026 and as part of their support PiGs are coordinating a trek across the Inca Trail!!
Sarah and the team are offering professionals within the window industry and Harry's Pals supporters to join their Machu PiGchu team,. So nows your chance to become a globetrotter and experience this life-changing challenge while supporting parent carers across the country in heartbreaking circumstaces.
Harry's Pals was set up by Hayley Charlesworth who's son Harry was diagnosed with severe brain damage at birth ten years ago. Hayley was surprised to realise the lack of emotional support for parents upon realising that their child has a life limiting or life threatening condition and founded Harry's Pals in 2022.
The charity offers unique services which included bespoke counselling and therapy, support groups and short breaks away. Sarah Ball was moved by the charity and wants to encourage people from within the window industry to support this cause.
This is an amazing opportunity, to really challenge yourself, see a breathtakingly beautiful part of the world and meet new people and make life long friendships.
The People in Glazing Industry and Harry's Pals are hopeful to raise £70,000 to widen their reach across the country and support more hospitals to allow for more referrals and much more support for many, many parents.
