Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent. For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.

Story

Thank you for joining 800 hikers and runners, taking on the Pilgrims Way Challenge to raise vital funds for specialist end-of-life care across our community.

It costs over £17 million every year to provide Pilgrims’ free, compassionate care and support to more than 4,000 people living with a life-limiting illness across east Kent. Our vision is simple yet powerful: a community where everyone facing the end of life is supported and empowered, together with their loved ones, to live well in both mind and body, making the very most of the time they have.

We couldn’t do this without people like you. By taking part in the Pilgrims Way Challenge, you’re helping to make that vision a reality.

To put your fundraising into perspective:

💙 £100 could fund 4 hours of nursing care for someone living with a life-limiting illness, relieving pain, bringing comfort, and supporting them to live well until the end.

Thank you so much!
