Support Innerleithen Pipe Band at the 2026 PipeBand‑A‑Thon!
On Saturday 9 May 2026, members of Innerleithen Pipe Band will take on their annual 12‑hour PipeBand‑A‑Thon, aiming to raise £3,000 to help secure the Band’s future. From 8.00am to 8.00pm, players will perform in relay—non‑stop—right here in the Band Hall in Innerleithen.

Why Your Support Matters
Innerleithen Pipe Band is a proud part of the Innerleithen and wider Scottish Borders community. We bring together children, young people, and adults to learn, play, compete, and perform at local festivals and events. For many, the Band is a place to grow in confidence, develop musical skills, and be part of something bigger.
But keeping a pipe band running is expensive.
- A single pipe chanter reed costs £15;
- A pair of drumsticks costs £15;
- Hiring a coach for competitions averages £825;
Last year alone, the Band spent almost £30,000 on instruments, uniforms, tuition, travel, and essential running costs. As a fully self‑funded organisation, we rely on fundraising events like the PipeBand‑A‑Thon to keep the music playing.

A Challenge We’re Proud to Take On
The PipeBand‑A‑Thon is one of our biggest fundraising events of the year. It’s a test of stamina, teamwork, and spirit—but it’s also a brilliant day of music and community. The Band uses the event to sharpen skills ahead of the competition season while raising the funds needed to continue offering opportunities to players of all ages.

Help Us Set a New Record
This year, we’re aiming higher than ever. With your help, we hope to set a new fundraising record and ensure the Band can continue to thrive for years to come.

Every donation—large or small—makes a real difference.
Will you help us reach our goal and keep the tradition alive?
We’re incredibly grateful for your support.
