Every day, young carers provide vital support to family members, often taking on responsibilities far beyond their years. While they show incredible strength and resilience, many miss out on opportunities to relax, socialise, and simply enjoy being young people.

Our 4 Nations Residential Trip will give 16 young carers the chance to travel to Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and England to meet other young carers who truly understand their experiences. Together, they will build friendships, share their stories, grow in confidence, and create lasting memories in a safe and supportive environment.

This trip is more than just a residential — it is an opportunity for young carers to feel recognised, valued, connected, and create lasting bonds with Carers Centres across the UK. For many, it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience that helps reduce isolation and reminds them they are not alone.
