The Young Carers Voice have been working with us for several years supporting the ongoing development of our service and to help raise awareness around Young Carers on a local and national level.

The group have been discussing the possibility of going on a trip to Paris, in order to have some well deserved fun, relaxation and a little adventure. Many of the Young Carers have dreamt of a trip abroad and to some, Paris is a dream come true. They are looking forward to a new cultural experience and the chance to explore a new city, all while strengthening as individuals and as a team.

Our Young Carers Voice also recently applied for and received funding from the Gannochy Youth Trust in order to carry out some much needed refurbishments in our Young Carers Den. The Den is a safe space for young people to relax, play and socialise with other Young Carers. We are aiming to raise additional funds to complete the outstanding decoration work and fully open our space to the Young Carers community.

These trips not only allow Young Carers the opportunity to relax and take a break from the stresses of everyday life, but to also explore new cultures, countries and experiences within the safety and comfort of a close knit group of other young carers. Your donation will also be used towards raising the final costs of refurbishing the Den, which is very close to completion now.
