Story
This Refugee Week, we’re celebrating Courage - from the Latin cor, meaning heart. Courage is the strength it takes to rebuild life, find belonging, and create a future in a new place.
We see Courage every day in the young people we support. Many arrive in the UK alone, with little or no English and no local support network. Today, some are studying at college and university, including courses in pharmacology and biomedical sciences, while building friendships, communities and futures for themselves.
My favourite place is here.
Our goal
We are raising £1,500 to continue this work and ensure young people can access consistent, high-quality creative opportunities.
What your donation could do
£10 could support one young person to take part in a creative wellbeing session
£20 could help provide materials and support for a young person to create and develop their artwork or music
£50 could enable a young person to take part in a music or visual arts workshop with professional artists
Why it matters
Courage can be loud, but it also lives in everyday acts of heart - showing up, creating something new, and sharing it with others.
Refugee Week is about recognising the creativity and resilience of refugees. We see it every week.
Your support helps make that possible.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps young people continue to create, connect, and be seen.
Thank you for standing with us this Refugee Week.
