Story
About the Project
At Coram’s Fields, we believe that every child deserves the freedom to play without limitations.
For decades, our Junior Play Area has been a place where children come together to discover, create, and grow. But today, much of the equipment is outdated and no longer meets the needs of the children who rely on this space—especially those with additional needs.
With your support, we have a unique opportunity to create something extraordinary:
🌿 A new, accessible play area shaped by the voices of our community.
🌿 Inclusive play equipment designed for children of all abilities.
🌿 Sensory-rich features that nurture curiosity, confidence, and connection.
🌿 Natural landscaping and spaces where families can relax and bond.
🌿 Increase the play space from 250 to 480 square meters
This project isn’t just about replacing old equipment. It’s about re imagining what play can be—a space that breaks down barriers and gives every child the chance to flourish.
Why This Matters
More than 1,000 children use our play spaces every week. For many families, Coram’s Fields is the only safe, welcoming green space they can access. Children with disabilities often face isolation and exclusion from play opportunities—but together, we can change that.
Your donation is an investment that will benefit generations to come, creating a legacy of inclusive, joyful play right in the heart of central London.
How Funds Will Be Used
The total project cost is £200,000. Thanks to generous support already secured from Camden Council, we have £135,000 in place. We need to raise the remaining £65,000 to:
-Install new inclusive play equipment and sensory features.
-Improve safety and accessibility across the space.
-Create natural seating and areas for families to gather.
Every pound you give will go directly towards making this vision a reality.
