60 poets in an all-day non-stop poetry reading to raise funds for the Poetry Café and The Poetry Society. Each poet will read for eight minutes, entry is by donation, and you can come and go as you please. Therell also be a tombola your chance to win fabulous prizes! Its going to be a wonderful day!

The line-up will be announced soon. Our poets will donate their time and talents to read on the day. Details of how to sponsor the poets will also be posted here soon. Any help you can give will be very gratefully received.

What are we raising funds for? We want to keep improving the Poetry Café visitor experience and provide a home for poetry for years to come. Not only will you be supporting the physical transformation of the Poetry Café and buildings, but you will be directly supporting us in our mission to create a central position for poets and poetry across the UK and beyond; our rejuvenated Poetry Society spaces will be invaluable in helping us carry out our work. From this building, we place poets in schools across the country, run vital talent development programmes, and publish the UKs leading poetry magazine, The Poetry Review.
