All Saints Church, is the Civic Church of Northampton. It also has a nationwide reputation for its excellent choirs. The choirs today are made up of talented youngsters (boys, girls, teenagers) from across the county. Between them, they sing five services each week. Membership of the choir is open to any child with the commitment and the talent, and is completely free of charge.

Tours are more than just a holiday for the choir. They help to create unity of purpose, and common identity. Having something to work towards and to get excited about invariably drives up musical standards as well, and helps with the recruitment and retention of choristers. It also helps give the church an international profile, and to forge links with other communities.

Most of all, it is an eye-opening and inspirational experience for these young girls and boys, many of whom would not have this opportunity otherwise.
