Poolewe Village Hall Needs Your Help!
Poolewe village hall has a long history of being host to all kinds of people and groups during the good and bad times, a place of refuge and fun.
The current hall underwent an upgrade in 2004 and has been well used ever since, to the point that the regular maintenance isn't really covering every job. Some elements of the building are now coming to the end of their life and need replaced or a major overhaul. This in turn will hopefully reduce ongoing maintenance and energy costs and make the building more environmentally sustainable.
The committee have started by replacing the oil boiler with a more environmentally friendly Air Source Heat Pump, which was partially grant funded. Future elements of the building that need replaced/overhauled are the kitchen (really vital for the many charities using it for pop up cafes, to raise funds at the https://www.facebook.com/PooleweTuesdayMarket/?locale=en_GB
Poolewe village hall would not be the same without the hugely popular Ceilidhs, providing locals and visitors with an opportunity to connect and have fun.

The hall floor has seen many sporty feet, dancing feet and toe tapping feet and now needs a makeover. We'd like to see it restored and ready for more fun.
