Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey provides a full range of sexual and reproductive health care services, including lifesaving cancer screenings, affordable birth control, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections and HIV, abortion care, wellness visits, education, resources, and more. We believe that everyone deserves access to health care that empowers us all to build healthy futures and lead healthy lives.

The Patient Access Fund is Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central, and Southern NJ's donor-supported initiative that empowers our health center staff to provide direct financial support to patients in need. Our goal is to break down any barrier to care that our patients may face.

As an example of how the Patient Access Fund changes our patients’ lives, we recently worked with a patient from Florida who discovered she was pregnant too late to be seen in her home state (which bans abortion after only 6 weeks). She couldn’t afford the cost of flights and hotels, and couldn’t take time off work. We booked her appointment on a Saturday, and utilized the Patient Access Fund to get her the transportation and lodging she needed. After receiving care at our health center, she made it home on Sunday afternoon, back in time for work the next day. She was incredibly grateful the Patient Access Fund was able to provide support so she could make the best decision for her family and her future.
